Liz Van Wieren| Co-President
Liz has three children, Two at Congress Park in 4th and 2nd grades and a 3 year old future CP student! Liz is so excited for the new school year and the opportunity to serve our school this year.
Dani Valenta | CO-President
Danielle and her husband Terry have 2 kids; 1 attending Congress Park in 2nd Grade and 1 at Kensington Daycare. Danielle grew up in LaGrange and is excited to be back as a part of the Congress Park Community. She is excited for the opportunity to work alongside so many talented board members this year and cannot wait to see what we can do together!
Will Leodinh | CO-VP Event Planning
Will and his husband, Kevin, have been living in the Riverside-Brookfield community for most of their lives. When their child joined Congress Park last year, Will was impressed by how engaged kids and parents were at the PTO events. This year, Will is excited to be taking a more active role in executing fun programming for the kids in our community. Will led event programming for a few different organizations during college and has a career in healthcare data analytics. His hobbies include hiking trips, competitive weightlifting, and video games.
Kristi McIntyre | Treasurer
My name is Kristi McIntyre and I'm the incoming Treasurer for the PTO. I'm an Accountant by trade so this should help me in this role. I have have a 3rd grader in the dual language program. My favorite thing to do is cruise and I try to go every year if I could!
Allyson Chen Mahoney | Fundraising Coordinator
I'm Allyson, this year's PTO fundraising chair. I've lived in Brookfield for 3 years and while I enjoy many aspects of this community, I especially enjoy being a Congress Park parent. I'm a solo mom (widowed parent) of a third grade boy and a kindergarten boy. When I'm not number crunching for my day job or spending time with this year's talented and dedicated PTO members, I enjoy nature walks, show tunes, and kid-wrangling.

Akeya Holt | Volunteer Coordinator
Akeya and her husband David have two sons in the district. An 8th grader at Park and a 2nd grader in the dual language program. Akeya has lived in La Grange Park for 10 years and is looking forward to getting to know the Congress Park community. An avid cook and travel enthusiast, Akeya loves to talk trip planning and recipes. Social event are her bread and butter, she is looking forward to working with many of the CP families at the fun events the PTO has planned for the year!
Lani Larkin | Secretary
I am mom to 2nd graders Christian and Cormac. In my spare time I like to read, craft, swim, and spend time with friends and family. I am looking forward to a great year for all of us at CP!
Kelsey Mays | CO-VP Communications
Kelsey lives in LaGrange with his wife, Meredith, their daughter (Annika) and their son (Emmett). Annika is entering first grade and Emmett is a couple of years behind at Grace Lutheran Preschool. Kelsey is excited to join the PTO board and to serve the broader Congress Park community!
